From Helsinki Vantaa Airport
The travel time via taxi from Helsinki Vantaa Airport is about 30 minutes. The taxi fare is around 40 EUR.
Although no direct connection is established from Helsinki Vantaa Airport,
HSL public transport offers a number of convenient paths to Otakaari 1, 02150 Espoo.
The most convenient route is taking the Commuter trains I and P from Helsinki Vantaa Airport to Helsinki Central Railway Station (Rautatieasema), then taking the metro to Aalto-yliopisto station (in the direction of Tapiola or Matinkylä).
To get to or from the airport, you will need an ABC ticket. Single tickets and day tickets can be purchased using the HSL mobile app or from HSL ticket machines, R-kiosks and many other sales points throughout the city.
Getting to Helsinki is possible via plane (to Helsinki Vantaa Airport), by boat (from Estonia, Sweden, Germany, and Russia), and by train (from Russia).
From Helsinki Central Railway Station (Rautatieasema)
The conference venue can be reached by metro (in the direction of Tapiola or Matinkylä) from Helsinki Central Railway Station (Rautatieasema) and downtown. The journey takes around 12 minutes. There are two exits from the Metro station, Otaniementie and Tietotie. Via Otaniementie, you can access the Undergraduate Centre, the Main Building Dipoli, Väre, School of Business, and the Harald Herlin Learning Centre. Via Tietotie, you can easily reach Micronova, the Computer Science Building and the Open Innovation House.
